“Lovely clean rooms set in a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. Carpark had plenty of space. The pub/restaurant was fantastic. One of the best steaks I’ve had. I was impressed by the wine list as it had plenty of choice of fantastic wines. Only downside was they stopped serving drinks at 10pm. Much too early to shut shop after you’ve been in the restaurant all evening. Other than that, we were satisfied.”

“I have stayed here several times now. On arrival had a long wait to be checked in. Nobody was on reception. When they finally turned up there was no apology for the wait. Room as expected but I thought this time it was looking very tired. Badly chipped paintwork. Dirty marks on carpet. A stone from a fruit from previous guest on floor. “The room was clean but a few issues I found brown marks on the door frame of the bathroom maybe make up ? Also on the table there was stain drink cup marking and the shower glass has all marks on it there was cobwebs around lamps and bedside lampshades was dusty dirty and marked and one lamp didn’t work.
