Costa Mesa Inn

"I stayed 4 days and I can say the inside of the rooms makes the stay worth it. The outside is a different story. The no pool is because it looks like it needs major repairs. The lobby area is small but nice. The room was updated very nice. Bed was comfortable and probably had the largest tv I've ever seen in a hotel room. It was quiet and peaceful. The only thing I would hope is that the owner upgrades the outside like they did the rooms and it would be a all around great property. The house cleaning of the room could have been better, it wasn't bad, but my original room they put me in the freezer had what seemed like raw fish juice that spilt from a guest previous stay. I let the from desk know and the lady was very apologetic and told me she would upgrade me and met me half way to give me the new room key. Way to provide great service. My brother came to visit me and said he even liked the room and would recommend the hotel to other family members that comes to visit. I usually stay at big box hotels and work for a 5 star property in Las Vegas. I would definitely stay again."

"This hotel is clean and bright and reminds me of a beach house right down to the surf boards in the lobby and wine hour in the evening. Very nice place to stay!!!"

"Staff was great, our room wasn’t ready so they ended up upgrading us to a 1 bedroom suite. The room was huge, the furniture was a little outdated and small for the space but still had what we needed- a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge, 2 king beds and a bathroom. The ocean view was amazing. The only downside was having a few mosquitoes in the room. Which for some its fine, but for my bf and I who swell up like balloons it wasnt. The breakfast was as simple as breakfast can be. Fruit, yogurt, coffee, packaged pastries, and a waffle maker. For the price and location we’d definitely come back."

"Love the location the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfy; my only suggestion is to get rid of the tired carpet. I will stay here again very convenient and the staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good and the hot tub and pool are clean and well maintained!"
