“Lovely hotel. Very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent!!!! Would definitely go back”

“Obvious it’s a place that caters for wedding parties at the weekend and at this time of year no one else. Rooms are a little tired,radiator in bedroom didn’t work at any point. Lack of hooks/chest of drawers in room very frustrating especially when the wardrobe is full of spare pillows/duvets/fans/trouser press/ironing board and iron. Good amenities but no storage space. Hooks in room and bathroom would be great addition. Breakfast not worth £18 each”

“Food excellent and good value, room nice, clean, they left fresh milk in the room. All staff really friendly and helpful. would go again.”

“Staff both on reception and in the dining room were helpful, although at dinner we had to wait a long time before the food arrived. The main problem was that although the hotel wasn’t fully booked we were given a room (room 7) right on the very noisy road, over the bar and the outdoor festoon lights were on all night which filtered into the room. Had we stayed a second night we would have asked to be moved!”
