The property is tired, carpets old and tired, room was okay, very dated, was a very splendid hotel 30 years ago, but looks like it’s not has any work done since then, shame really, it’s a lovely building in superb grounds

Room smelt of cigarettes upon entry, bathroom had been cleaned with bleach, could hear the lift going all night, construction began down the halls in the morning and staff member entered our room without our knowledge.

Garden was good but the ladies toilets in reception and bar area had a terrible smell Think drainage needs sorting Can see there doing some improvements but more needs doing We had a good stay with family though
