“Fabulous Hampton Inn located so well within walking distance of charming and booming Black Mountain with restaurants and shops and artisan galleries. Easy drive to Asheville as well and the room rate was 40% less than properties just minutes away. Quiet with great service and friendly staff at the check in desk as well as the breakfast area. It is worthy of the 10 out of 10 rating it has received...”

“This is an older hotel, nothing fancy as with most of this brand, but it was comfortable, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints.”

“Easy check in,out. Simple breakfast. Enough parking space. Near highway.”

“sadly we did not enjoy our stay and we are old house lovers - the location was great being close to town and the WIFI was excellent but the room was not what we would have expected for the price - small with tub in the middle, toilet so close to the wall it was difficult to sit on, shower that went from frigid to burning hot off & on, no soap, 1/2 bottle of shampoo, the room was too hot and stuffy even with both windows open, bed was called queen but felt more like a double, bedding had cigaret”

“I stayed in the Milton room and it was beautiful. The Hotel has a very warm feeling with lots of comfortable seating downstairs to socialize. The owner sent me an email with self check-in instructions making it very easy to proceed directly to my room. She even called me leaving a message making sure I was aware of the email and asked if I had any questions. It made me feel right at home. I would definitely stay again and recommend them to any couple who wants a romantic getaway.”

“Nice place... Clean rooms and the staff was very attentive”

“The phone in the room did not work (wanted a wake-up call) and when we informed the front desk I was informed that maintenance was not available till the next day. Also the room was next to the freeway and the room did not have much sound proofing; heard traffic all night.”

“Need gluten free bread or pastries”

“Everything was wonderful from the time we pulled up to the valet station through the entirety of our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was immaculately clean. We even asked to stay for an extra night that they were happy to accommodate at the front desk and even gave us the discounted third party rate. There are so many little perks that make this a special experience: happy hour in the darling library lobby, sunset views from the rooftop bar/restaurant, a darling breakfast...
