“This is a great find... When you look at the outside it doesn't look like 5 stars...but if you are visiting the Great Sand Dunes this is the place to stay... Very nice staff ..A complete breakfast and a large well appointed room... Could not have been happier with our choice of the Dunes!!”

“Great place and so close to the sand dunes! I will def be back here! The rooms have little sitting areas outside which I loved ! There’s hummingbird feeders and little hummingbirds flying all around! We got there later after the restaurant nearby had closed, but the hotel has frozen pizza you can buy and cook there so we did that! The lady in the office was very nice and friendly and when she heard we were leaving super early she gave us some things for breakfast, I wanted to give them a 5. But...

“We had a great 3 day stay. The room was very clean and our two dogs really enjoyed the dog park. The owner and staff were also very nice. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area again.”

“The room is basically an apartment. It's on a brook and you can hear it from the second floor. Homemade breakfast. 6 different kinds of fresh fruit. Omelet and bacon with jam and English muffin. Mike the host is owner operator and a fantastic guy!! Huge sunken family room... dining room for breakfast. Coffee. Full kitchen in room. View is outstanding. Wildlife is abundant!!”
