"What a fabulous stay at this riad, well located on the edge of the medina. The staff was exceptionally helpful especially as we were traveling during Eid and needed some special assistance. "The hotel has beautiful décor that truly makes you want to stay and enjoy the atmosphere. The owner and the staff are wonderfully kind, which makes the experience feel very welcoming. As a small suggestion, it would be very helpful to have an iron available for guests. I understand that it’s not currently provided, but it would be a thoughtful addition many would appreciate."

"We only stayed one night at Hotel Sahrai, but overall we enjoyed the modern design and spacious feel of the hotel. The room had a very stylish and contemporary atmosphere, and we appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts as well. The pasta we ordered for lunch was delicious, although the waiting time was a bit long, so we would recommend sharing if someone is in a hurry. We also ordered a Caprese dish, but what arrived seemed more like bruschetta with melted cheese and mushrooms rather than a traditional Caprese. We believe it may have simply been a miscommunication, so we politely accepted and enjoyed the dish without any issue. The room and bathroom design, especially the glass elements, felt modern, fun, and a bit sexy. However, there were unfortunately significant clogging issues with both the wash basin and bathtub. In addition, the toilet had a noticeable sewage smell during our stay. We also felt the grayish carpet in the room may need replacing, as it did not appear very clean and had a strong musty smell each time we returned to the room from outside. That said, the room itself was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. With some improvements to the bathroom maintenance and carpeting, the experience could become much more enjoyable."

"The hotel is, really, a boutiqu hotel. I got a large room with a seating area..but that was about it. There is no kettle, bottled water or tea/coffee supplied ("Go to nearby coffe houses" I was told when I queried this). The morning staff member was a lot more pleasant :) Also,ifyou forget to hand your keys your room will not be cleaned. And, even if you do, only the towels were refreshed. I didn't not evidence of sheet refreshir even clean of desk :( Airconditioning was good. Hotwater may be less than hot if you are late after the moring crowd - 8am Breakfast OK...nothing fancy. Beware the place has no lifts so if you have a heavy bag it may be an issue..albeit the receptionist will offer help. Lastly, and this is my opion as a businessperson, I think allthe owner's money was spent on acquiring tbe place and, thus, skimping on the ongoing/running cost."
