"We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Sonesta! The view was beautiful and really made our experience even more special. The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. One thing we really appreciated was that they allowed us to leave our baggage even after we checked out, so we could still roam around the city and enjoy our scheduled boat tour without any hassle. It made our trip so much more convenient and stress-free. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"Pretty pricey for what you actually get. Valet is $79 per night on top of room fee. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. The linen on bed was full of stains. The temperature in room is either too hot or too cold. Pool water is disgusting. On the other hand:valet staff was excellent. The location is excellent. Breakfast was okay as well. "

"The location was nice and the staff was polite and helpful. However, we did request extra pillows which were approved but never delivered. The pool was not good. I called ahead to check that it was functioning and was told it was “heated and cleaned twice a day,” however it was ice cold and so murky you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. No actual food options inside the hotel, which we knew ahead of time but also will cause us to look elsewhere to stay in the future."
