“Pros: clean, comfy bed, good pub restaurant and coffee on site, easy parking, fridge and microwave, nice river view, very friendly staff Cons: front desk/help is only open 9-5, our room keys needed recoding daily for some reason and since front office was closed by 5 it was a rigmarole trying to get the keys updated through the bar staff, the dock in the photos was locked shut so you couldn’t actually go on it, the ice machine room was locked all the time, air con didn’t work so room was...

“The hotel tries to be "old-timey," but it just ends up being old. Everything is shabby, and not in the "chic" way. The worst part was when a mouse came darting through our room. I complained to the front desk and they gave me towels to stuff under the door. My husband saw another mouse in the downstairs lobby area, which is also where the high tea is served. We were totally grossed out. Thankfully Expedia is working on getting us a refund.”

“A lovely B&B close to everything in Sidney. A purpose built B&B, with very quiet and comfortable rooms. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room, as often guests are heading to the ferry or airport. Worked perfectly for us. Room was very comfortable with our own heat control, fireplace, jetted tub and shower, and comfortable bed and linens. Great safe parking in the back of the inn. Highly recommend. ”

“Our family of 6 stayed in a very spacious 2 bedroom cabin. Everything that was needed to have breakfast before taking our 4 children exploring was provided in the kitchen. Cabin was clean and comfortable. The pub was super close so mom and dad were able to sneak off for a nightcap to end the day. We will definitely be back. The Boltons”

“What a beautiful little gem! Very quaint historical manor with lots of history. Rebecca the Innkeeper was so sweet. She made the stay that much more incredible. She is very kind, helpful and an amazing chef. Her breakfasts were a great way to start the day. She made us feel so at home. Will definitely return next yr.
