“Daisybank cottage is a must for anyone looking to stay in the New Forest. The room was perfect - spacious, spotless and huge fluffy towels in the bathroom. Lovely touches in the room and so thoughtful. Great breakfast and friendly welcome. Its perfect for various walks without the car to get to start points, and close to pubs and eateries nearby. “We truly had an amazing stay at Balmers Lawn! We got a really good deal for Easter weekend, and it exceeded expectations on every level. The room was only classified as "standard" yet it was huge, lovely big bathroom, and they had put Easter Craft in the room for the kids. Kids can use the swimming pool in the morning and evening, and we had it to ourselves each morning we went! “This is a 15th Century building with the stable block converted into accommodation. The room we occupied was very large with all the usual amenities, pristine clean with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast menu was comprehensive as was the dinner menu. My only suggestion is that a help yourself coffee and tea facility would enhance its facilities.Excellent hotel at the price.”

“One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever visited. The gardens are stunning and the surrounding woodland feels truly magical, with horses and deer nearby. The heated pool is a lovely touch, though the hours are limited. Breakfast was excellent—fresh and filling. I’d recommend booking lunch and dinner in advance as it gets busy. Reception staff were warm and welcoming; overall service was good, though a little more polish would make it exceptional.”

“We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn.”

“we only stayed over one night. The food was adequate and cooked well three courses Breakfast was well presented with good choices very friendly Staff. Whilst there we noticed that there was a swimming pool for the guests also entertainment of an evening which was good fun. Over all a good stay but a bit dated”

“Charming and character-full hotel with lovely Enid Blyton memorabilia for those of us who have fond memories of growing up with her stories. The location is beautiful, across the road from the ocean and beaches, along with several excellent walks. My room was very comfortable and cosy with nice updates, although part of the charm of the hotel is its age which does show in some of the common areas. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, although a few more healthy options would be appreciated for...
