Top Brownsea Island Hotel Reviews

The Durley Dean Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room was perfect for what we needed. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. The hotel itself is a little tired, but clean and well presented. The location is AMAZING with a short walk to a lifeguard maintained beach. Very happy with our stay"

Carrington House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent for family, decent size of the familly room, fully equiped, nice and clean- recommend"

Haven Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"everything was perfect this is our 4th stay and will not be our last, but on a negative and we did ask for a budget room but it still cost 164 pounds and there was plenty of room but the windows looked out at a wall no air we used the small fan provided no natural light very dark sorry to complain but i think the over all feel of the hotel out ways the problem of the room 107. The food, staff and the beautiful location fantastic."

Royal Bath Hotel
8/10 Good
"Rooms need updating on the second floor the furniture is dated and falling apart Bathrooms good condition the.pillows are hard need to be softer. Rooms very hot in July one small noisy fan provided if not putting in air conditioning then supply few more upright standing fans in the rooms. I would also say the entertainment staff worked very hard you could provide maybe 1 or 2 professional acts. The breakfast very good you need to provide fruit in morning. Overall I enjoyed my stay and good value for money."

Marsham Court Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel, pool, friendly staff…and room woth sea view was great for short stay"

The Knoll House
8/10 Good
"Excellent location but very busy road directly outside. Evening food was very good but breakfast less so. Hotel decor was a bit tired and paying extra to use the outdoor pool felt wrong and something we had not encountered anywhere else. The price felt expensive for what was provided."

Laguna Hotel
8/10 Good
"The hotel had everything needed for a short stay but would have struggled if staying longer in the summer due to lack of fridges or aircon in the rooms."

Holiday Inn Express Poole by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"All good. Nothing to possibly complain about."

Sandbanks Hotel
8/10 Good
"Our room was in the newer part of the hotel, with a good size room and balcony overlooking the beach. A big bed, very firm and clean. Bathroom was a little dated and well worn, but clean. You can’t beat the location of this hotel, literally a couple of steps down from the terrace and you are on soft sandy beach with amazing views. We also used the pool, it’s small and again dated, but clean and has a lifeguard on duty during opening hours. Breakfast is a generous selection from buffet full English to continental pastries, fruit, yoghurt and the conveyor toasters! Sure to delight the kids. We also had their “pizza on the beach” cooked outside on the terrace until 5pm. There’s not a huge selection of places to eat within walking distance, so the catering here is popular and not horrendously priced. Absolutely recommend for a couple of days at the beach for families."
