“Lovely historic hotel, very pleasant and helpful staff, good food and bar, easy parking. All great. Only suggestion for improvement was brighter bedside lights for reading. But loved our stay!”

“ We love the location and have stayed here on a few occasions. We love how the hotel is so pet friendly. It’s accessible to Bournemouth and Swanage, plenty of walks from the hotel and close to the beach (especially for an early morning/ evening swim). Our dinner was lovely and the breakfast is plentiful. ”

“The room was very clean. The building itself is very old but is kept in a very clean condition. The staff were friendly, attentive nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really good as there was so many gluten free options to choose from and it was cooked to perfection. Parking was at the back of the hotel and felt safe at all times. This is an Ideal location for visiting the town with so much choice of places to eat. ”

“On arrival the place felt calm and set in a beautiful area, the staff were lovely and very friendly, I cannot fault their service at all. The room was fabulous, everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable with great views of the grounds. The shower was amazing and it was the perfect place for my night away for my birthday. Cannot recommend it enough, wonderful place. ”
