For those who are looking for air con, instant internet etc it probably is not for you but for the rest of us who like quirky, individual and very English it a 10. 2 best points are the staff who are quiet frankly brilliant, helpful, kind , funny and friendly and efficient. “Very historic building. As is most if tewkesbury. Nice room at back of hotel. Hot at the time, so room was stuffy which couldn't really be helped; fans were provided. Generally very quiet but some noise from kitchen. ”
“A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens.”
