"Good experience. Our toddlers loved the baby pools. Just keep an eye on your belongings if your at the pools there was a lady that tired to get into our bags while we were away from them. Thankfully the family next to us scared her off"

Sands Ocean Club Resort

"This place was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. When we got to our room you can just tell it was very dirty and outdated. There was a bug on the bed and leftover trash in the trashcan. When I went to the front desk to switch rooms they didn’t even seem surprised or apologetic, needless to say the second room they put me in was the same outcome and the toilet was leaking and the closet door was broke. After that I went to the front desk and canceled my reservation. Save your money and time and stay elsewhere!"

"The location was excellent—right on the beach and close to restaurants, attractions, and stores. The oceanfront views were beautiful, especially in the morning. The pools and lazy river were enjoyable, and there were plenty of options for families and kids. The room was decent and served its purpose, though some areas could use a little updating. Staff were generally friendly and helpful during our stay."

"The staff was great. However the hotel not so great. In my first room. There were socks at the base of the blinds / curtain that opened the windows, when we moved the blinds roaches started scattering everywhere. Also the bottom of the curtain had black stuff on it. The bathroom was so tiny you could barely move. Outdated is an understatement. That was room 537 in the schooner building. We went to the front desk to let them know about the room and Ms. Afiya and the manager Christa tried to make it right. They moved us to a more renovated room in the other building. This was room 652. The room was better but we still had roaches. Not as many as in the other room but still running around. And the cap on the tub fell off. The resort was fully booked so.....the beach was nice, along with the little games around the resort, the pools were fine. The kids loved the slides at the one pool. The breakfast buffet was okay - we were greeted by the friendliest young lady - again the staff was so nice. I couldn't wait to LEAVE! Please know that this place is outdated and roaches are everywhere. The pictures are deceiving."
