โVery nice hotel for our week end. We went to a convention nearby and we had a good experience overall. The floor was not cleaned in our room when we got back but overall everything else was clean.โ

โMy daughter, her friend and I had a great stay at Maison Montplaisir. Itโs on a quiet street, around the corner from a bus line that is only a short ride to the metro. The accommodations are not fancy, but it is very quiet, has everything you need and and the beds are really comfy. The host is an absolute gem! He is so warm and inviting, it made the stay extra special. We will definitely be returning. โ
โThe reviews are bad and mentioned the place reeking smell of smoke which we did not encounter during our stay and the room we stayed was the cheapest yet the room itself was recently painted and the sheets were clean unlike what was mentioned in the reviews. But yes, the building is old and looks shady but other than that, it was a pleasant stay.โ
"The room was not the newest in town, but it was very clean and spacious! They offered a free upgrade when checking in, which was great, with a separate living room, kitchen, and a balcony. I also liked its great location, very close to the shopping street and the 747 bus stop to the airport. I'd choose this place if I visit again."
