“Our room was lovely with great views and good amenities. But the stay was very much let down by the attitude and lack of communication from the majority of the staff. When checking in I confirmed with the receptionist that we had a table booked in the Galley restaurant for dinner. On arrival in the bar for a pre-dinner drink my husband checked in with the waitress, who showed him our reserved table and told him to go through when we were ready. She did say that the Galley restaurant was shut...

After a long day on the trail, we received a really friendly welcome and immediately felt at home. “I've traveled more than 20 countries and of course stayed many hotels. However, this hotel was the best for our family in terms of services. They had separated restaurants for family and adults (only) so that kids can have more freedom. In front of hotel, there are very well equipped playground for kids as well. Staff members were kind and they booked tours for us as well. Swimming pool and indoor spa are free; but, you should pay extra for outdoor spa. We will definitely come back to...

“The staff were great but the rooms were a bit cramped especially the bathrooms. There were problems with television reception breaking up. The hotel is in a nice location and the food was fine.”

Breakfast was nice however overpriced for a limited selection, would be nice to have eggs royale for example. View from our room was lovely too. We booked breakfast on one day but found it too much after dinner the previous night. We ate at taste of Cornwall one night. The food was very good but the room was very dark and the music stopped a couple of times and nobody around to turn it back on, so lacked a nice ambience.”
