“Stayed for 2 nights. Just perfect. Breakfast perfect. Main meals perfect. Staff perfect. Room was just fabulously perfect. The uneven floors were beautful and the effort made to keep it looking old is to be applauded. The doors were awesome. We find somewhere like this every year around this time for our birthdays and anniversary. Always somewhere with history and central to exploring. First time in 100s we'll be coming back.The whole bodmin area is astounding and the Jamaica is the perfect base...

“The hotel was immaculate and the staff were amazing. Would highly recommend this as a must to visit or stay when visiting Cornwall. The views were spectacular and the beach was clean and tidy. The restaurant was a real treat with amazing cuisine from the breakfast through to the fine dining experience in the evening. The accommodation was superb and definitely value for money. ”

“The staff were great but the rooms were a bit cramped especially the bathrooms. There were problems with television reception breaking up. The hotel is in a nice location and the food was fine.”

“Lovely place to stay, food was excellent the staff friendly. Walking distance to the town and plenty of shops to visit. Views from the hotel are wonderful and king Arthur's castle is right opposite the hotel with nice views from the hotel.”

“I've traveled more than 20 countries and of course stayed many hotels. However, this hotel was the best for our family in terms of services. They had separated restaurants for family and adults (only) so that kids can have more freedom. In front of hotel, there are very well equipped playground for kids as well. Staff members were kind and they booked tours for us as well. Swimming pool and indoor spa are free; but, you should pay extra for outdoor spa. We will definitely come back to...

“The breakfast was lovely i am gluten free they had gluten free sausage and toast it was a good size and was a great start to the day. The staff were friendly and the room was spotless ”

“i was allocated a room in an building seperate to the main hotel - located at the end of the lane. There is no lighting on the lane, after my evening meal in the hotel i had to navigate back to my room down a dark lane, full of potholes / puddles using only the torch on my mobile phone. ”

“Everything was fantastic from start to finish. Lovely clean room with balcony looking out towards port Isaac. My husband had the full Cornish breakfast which was huge plenty of variety. Staff so friendly couldn't do enough for you. Only problem is have is that I can't return with my little dog as the rooms are not pet friendly which is a shame ”

“Staff were very welcoming and helpful to us. The room was clean, beautifully presented and had all the amenities we required. Breakfast was delicious and there was choice of accompanying cereals/yoghurts etc overall a lovely stay.”
