“Nice old building but in need of repairs and updates, room wasn’t particularly clean, old windows with condensation and not be cleaned for a while ! Good breakfast, location not bad but a killer of a hill to get back up at night, was ok as a base but if looking for a special occasion I’d look elsewhere”

“Property location was excellent less than 10 minutes walk into the town. Parling easy behind the property. Lyme Regis is hilly, plenty to do though.”

“The Apartment, was quiet and just the right size for one or two people to stay in. The town was walkable to the town, but it was the hills coming back up. There was no onsite parking and it was pop lucky if you got a space on the road.”

“The property was as in pictures apart from the entrance, which was around the back of the property on an uneven surface and up a steep metal wet staircase. Would suggest slated blinds as the sun makes the property very hot especially at the velux window above the sink. Overall, a pleasant stay in a lovely sea side town. ”

“We stayed here for a couple of nights on a short tour of the Jurassic Coast. The location is spectacular and you can almost step out onto the beach. There is a lovely bay window which you can sit in and watch the world go by listening to the sound of the waves. If only this had been a nice padded seat, I might not have wanted to leave. Parking is a bit of a problem in Lyme Regis but there was no noise from the restaurants below, which I thought might be a problem”

Leiligheten var komfortabel, stille og fredelig, selv om den lå nær alt. Selv om det ikke var mulig å kjøre bil helt frem til leiligheten, opplevde vi faktisk dette som en fordel fordi området ble roligere og mer avslappende. Vi trivdes svært godt under oppholdet og kommer gjerne tilbake.”

“This property is very hard to find as the address given 8A Coombe street is incorrect. It is down a back path behind other properties. It took 40mins & several calls to Sykes cottages to find it! There is a cat (not mentioned in booking blurb) who comes via a cat flap which can be locked which we did due to a cat allergy! Overall it is a little 'tired' but the decor is nice and amenities are good, everything you need. It does need a thorough clean of lamps, pictures etc and a good clean of...
