"No getting around it is an old hotel and we loved it! Do to a review that I was a little disappointed I couldn’t get the room I wanted, the staff called our room and gave us an upgrade for free! The hotel is a great location for everything on river street and within walking distance to most everything else. We had talked about coming back in 2-3 years for another visit to Savannah to see the things we didn’t get to this weekend and this hotel is at the top of our list to stay in again. "

"This hotel is in the perfect location for walking the riverfront. It is very close to the boat launch for the Georgia Queen paddle wheel boat. The staff provided outstanding customer service. You get what you pay for. The meals at the hotel restuarant were pricey. However, there are tons of other food choices all over the city."
