"This weekend our trip was a husband and wife going to see our granddaughter. The hotel is in a great location being very near the college baseball field. It can get crowded but there is plenty of parking. The staff is super friendly and really strive to make your stay a good one."

"Our room and the property were clean, however, there were several things that really put us off such as, there was no shower gel, the water pressure is horrible, dribble is more like it, the pool is about 10ft x10ft so with everyone staying there, it was more like a hot tub with little room to move, and lastly the bristo... they had no cook on a Saturday or Sunday morning, they were out of almost all easy food such as parfaits and the price of food overall was ridiculous! We won't be staying here anymore while in Springfield. "

"The eating area/lobby and the kickback room were filthy upon arrival and hadn't been used since that morning and kickback bar hadn't been used since the night before. The floor was gross. Tables were dirty. Also the breakfast was very cold and hard. "

"The staff members were very pleasant and the check in process was extremely easy. The room was as pictured and was very clean. The pool area was nice and had a tropical feel. I do wish there was just a few more seats and tables available in this area but it was still great despite that. The fire and ice restaurant was very nice and easy to get a reservation. Bella's pizza was probably one of the best pizzas we have had! The continental breakfast had a very good variety. My kids really enjoyed their time here."

"I should start by saying had I have realized this was a motel I never would have booked a room here. The motel appeared average as we pulled in. The office while dated was nice and clean. There appeared to be internet or computer issues when we checked in which took awhile to finally be given the room keys. The room was another story!! The room- there was either an issue with the door handle or improperly set door. The only way to get it open was to literally ram it with your shoulder. Once the door was open there was a faint musty smell to the room and we noticed bugs in the room. There were two beds in the room both of which were lumpy and not comfortable at all. That bathroom was fine but the hanger for the hand towel was right next to the toilet which seemed strange. Other than that the water was hot for a shower. Honestly had I not have rented the room through Expedia I would have left before checking in. "

"There was a big roach in our bathroom. At least it was pedaling air when I found it. We missed the breakfast because it was not provided until 0700 hours. After the roach we weren't interested in eating there anyway. Also unfortunately, the coffee machine was out of order in the morning also. C'est la vie."
