“Immaculately presented room and hotel in the town centre, staff very friendly”

“Driving up to the hotel, it looked disappintingly like a low end budget hotel....i see now why the first image on expedia was of the attached Carriages Restaurant. On this particular visit, the land close by was being developed... cant hear anything, but the view from the room looked out towards the construction site. Carpet along the hallways was dated. Room itself was good but more attention needs to be paid to dusting.. there were threads of spider web in the coffee cups.. Air...

“Great place to stop off on way to Cornwall. Bed comfy, great bathroom. Pleased there was a fan as room was quite warm (couldn’t open windows). Meal in evening good and breakfast great. Staff helpful and friendly. Some areas a little tired.”
