We loved this resort! The beach and pool were wonderful, the food was delicious, and the drinks were plentiful. We love that we don’t have to make reservations at the specialty restaurants and can go unlimited times during a stay. The kids (teenagers/young adults) loved the activities from rifles/archery to volleyball and that there was an award ceremony daily. The diving was amazing, as always :)

Iberostar Waves Cozumel was amazing. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary for 4 nights there. We loved everything about it: the room, amenities, staff, food, drinks, spa, beach, shows, snorkeling, and the tropical island feel with beautiful plants and animals. We want to go back someday!

You cannot fault Iberostar.. the beach entrance to the water is a little rocky until your out a little ways, so a pair of water shoes or your flip flops are advised.. but you can always use the pier to enter.. pack light, this is a very casual place.. don’t use the shuttle service.. there’s a taxi service just outside the airport to the right. short walk with your luggage, but will cost you half what you pay isle using shuttle service or taxi from the airport.. have fun

Beautiful property and friendly staff. The food was okay (not much to expect from an all inclusive) but I did appreciate the variety of food options available. I would say beware of the ice cream machine!!!! My partner and I got a terrible upset stomach after eating the ice cream at the snack bar near the beach. Otherwise I would say this resort is worth the visit.

The bed was comfortable. However the beach was beyond rocky. The whole beach was a giant slab of coral. No one was in the water which caused the pools to be extremely crowded and loud. The worst part was eating in the buffet as the kuza ran wild they were everywhere. Climbing down from the roof and eating off plates that were left behind. This was completely unsanitary. Will never come back to this resort.

Friendly staff overall. They really work hard to please the customers. Food is above average and varied. Not all the restaurants are open. Japanese was open only one day on Saturday. I believe it is due to low season and occupancy. But service and food well worth the money. One thing I did not like is right upon Checking we were assigned a concierge thinking it is their process for first day orientation only to réalise he was the vacation ambush coordinator. After 45 minutes of Con-sell-ierging he decided to send us to the department of gift with conditions. Of course we declined.

Rooms are not luxurious by no means, but they are adequate and comfortable. A/C worked well. Zero complaints really. Snorkeling from the beach was great! Food wasn’t great but was comparable to most resorts, however, it did lack “change.” We were there 9 days and the buffets were pretty much exactly the same every day. They had variety, but it was boring. Nothing to complain about though. It was fine. Did enjoy the taco stand daily though!

Beach was beautiful. Tons of fish for some of the best snorkeling on the island. Pool was hot. Restaurants were all terrible. Every dish took 40 minutes and came out cold. Buffet was pretty consistent and good. Need to hire around 50-60 more people to staff properly. Every bar, restaurant, and event had about 60% of the people they should to run efficiently.
