10/10 Excellent
"Central location in town. 2 big car parks 5 mins away. Walking distance to many cafes & restaurants. Corinium Museum and St John Baptist Church only a few minutes away. Excellent hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Room is very comfortable. Fresh cookies baked on site was a lovely gesture. Highly recommended."

De Vere Tortworth Court

De Vere Tortworth Court

8/10 Good
"Upon arrival reception staff talked us through the times of the breakfast and restaurant opening times. She also explained about the spa and swimming facilities, you get 3, 1 hour slots (depending on duration of stay), you choose the times. If you have mobility issues the sauna and steam rooms are up a flight of stairs but there is a disabled changing room on the ground floor. Swimming pool easily accessible and staff were friendly and helpful. First night, the staff in the Atrium Restaurant were unhelpful and when I complained that my food was cold I never got a response, had to get my own drinks from the bar whilst others had table service. Overall spoilt my 60th birthday dinner. Had to also wait such a long time to be served. So not very good. Cleaning and other staff couldn’t do enough for us. Replenished coffee/tea/ towel’s daily. beautiful atmosphere and surroundings and the breakfast was delicious and all dietary requirements met. Overall not too bad but some of the staff could do with updating their attitude. The rooms are beautiful but can get hot. My only complaint was that the first night spoilt my birthday due to the staff in the Atrium Restaurant."

Wild Thyme & Honey

Wild Thyme & Honey

10/10 Excellent
"Ive stayed in nicer rooms , ive ate in nicer bars but ultimately its the people that make a hotel. And the people at wilde thyme and honey are fantastic. A special shout out to Izy who couldn't do enough to help. The rooms are cosy and warm with thoughtful touches like pillow spray and a spot of sloe gin which was beautiful, the on site restaurant/ pub was lovely with a great drinks selection. The pantry is a useful addition for extra bits that you may need during your stay. One genuine gripe is that the car park is dangerously dark after dark. There is no lighting at all. All in all it was great. I would return for sure."
