"This seems to be more of an extended stay than a hotel. Limited lobby with basic front desk and most of the guests seemed to have a dog, which I enjoyed because I love dogs. But it’s not the lobby bar, bellman, nice music you might expect for the price point. You are on your own with your luggage.
Pat said, I found the room very comfortable and loved having a washer and dryer because I’ve been on the road for a week.
There is a very nice and expansive pool deck, but no bartender at the bar when I was there.
So it has like a zombie apocalypse feel. Everyone left and a few people moved in to enjoy it. Again, nothing at all wrong with the place that a few more staff couldn’t fix."
"The Hyatt House was just what I needed! It was like I had my own mini apartment. It was in a decent location meaning it looked safe, and wasn’t far from the places I wanted to go. I gave 4 stars because I noticed that the floor was dirty. I also could have used a comforter. For me the temperature in the room was hard to be comfortable at night (I’m temperature sensitive). Other than that, the staff was pleasant and professional. The breakfast was good, although I’m gluten free and vegan. I just ate fruit. I didn’t hear any neighbors. I also appreciated that the lounge areas furniture was clean on the first floor. I will look for Hyatt Houses in the future when I travel from now on. "

"Staying at the Embassy was exceptional! This part of the downtown Tampa area was so clean and safe! Walking to convention center was easy with use of crosswalk ( although it was safe and easy from street below as well). I ate in the hotel restaurant every night. The service and food was good each time! Parking was easy. One of the best hotel experiences I have had….even compared to more expensive stays!

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle service and valet was convenient. Our room was spacious and well kept. The Dan and coffee shop were lacking but that was really the only issues we ran into during our stay. "
