“Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. “The outside of the hotel is looking a bit drab and in need of a good clean/paint. The reception area was very pretty and reception staff were pleasant. Check in was quick and efficient. Our room was large although could do with a refurbishment as some furniture was scruffy and ripped and the carpet was dirty, well worn and had an iron burn on it. There was plenty of storage.
