“Disappointed to have pre booked supper requesting a window table to be sat in the middle of the restaurant.
The shower needs attention! The shower rose was so blocked you couldn’t use it, it was leaking from the arm joint, and the handheld was exactly that, you had to hold it as the riser rail was broken!
Luckily I have a soft spot for this hotel and the geese will always make you smile in the car park ”

The food took what was already an excellent stay to another level at both breakfast and dinner with amazing food. The two men running things also strike the perfect balance of friendly, attentive and relaxed to make you feel welcome. When I’m next in the area I’ll definitely be staying again.”

“A beautiful old Dartmoor Inn in a very pretty village location. Terrific range of local ales and ciders and great food. Lovely walk in shower, but needs a corner shelf for toiletries. Paintwork needs touching up in places, but, overall, a wonderful, comgortanle plce to stay.”
