โfunky cool historic place with Polish and haunted history, in beautiful condition. Fun with the rock bands downstairs playing 70s favorites before bedtime. Comfortable. convenient to the light rail. Very gracious staff.โ
โCozy rooms, wonderful neighborhood, customer service was great, spa was divine, Alberta St Coffee Shop was AMAZING (Will went above and beyond for us), lots of walkable shops and delicious food nearby. We will absolutely be back. โ
โBeautiful property with a lot of wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Great hospitality, easy valet, friendly front desk staff and bartending/baristas. If you're up for a longer jaunt, check out the Nob Hill district just about a 20 minute walk too. The only thing we had issue with is noise at night - both from the street below and what seem to be thin walls between rooms (or just noisy neighbors). Otherwise, the best time. Thank you for having us, Canopy! โ
"The location is excellent. Overall, the staff are friendly. The rooms are spacious and decent, but they do not meet the high-end quality I imagined when booking. It's an average hotel, but it has a few drawbacks.
Firstly, it was listed as offering free breakfast, but instead of an actual free breakfast, they provide a credit that can be used like a voucher for the total amount. The breakfast itself is not great for the price, so it doesnโt seem worth selecting. Additionally, there is no bathtub in the bathroom, which is a disappointing omission.
The tap water is also quite murky. They claim itโs mineral water, but it just looks dirty. Being sensitive, I also experienced minor skin irritation after using the water.
The pool and fitness center are somewhat small but usable. This hotel is $40โ50 more expensive than others, and I booked it for the pool and breakfast as its advantages, but they werenโt particularly necessary, as the experience is ultimately similar to other hotels.
It wasnโt a bad experience, but Iโll likely try other hotels next time."
