“Lovely quiet hotel in the centre of town. A buffet breakfast had all the requirements - coffee, juice, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, eggs and toast. The room was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant was exceptional and there was a bar area for a quick drink and lunch. Local restaurants were a short walk away and tours of the area picked us up around the corner. Small markets were close by to pick up a snack or drinks. Would highly recommend.”

“The view!!! While deciding where to stay in the Azores, I do not think the reviews were clear about the view at this location. Truly, the view was amazing. “Great hotel, very clean and good amenities (spa is a plus, with sauna and jacuzzi). My only suggestion would be to increase the internal pool and jacuzzi’s water temperature, since is was unusual cold weather for this time of the year. ”

“To start, I’ll say that this is an objectively nice place to stay. There are great views of the sea and the rooms are big. The bed is very comfy. However, there were a number of important details missing, especially for the price. The shower in my room had a wooden floor. This clearly never dries and made the room smell horrible. It also felt quite unhygienic. The same issue existed near the pools - the wooden flooring is slightly warped and rotten, which is a bit of a hazard. The sauna didn’t...
