"Overall pretty clean. It potentially needed a deeper clean especially in the bathroom. The toilet was in a very inconvenient position. It felt very understaffed so special requests were missed on arrival and staff weren’t always available for myself and other guests, however they were helpful and attentive when they were available. Breakfast was standard and as expected. We didn’t use the bar or room service. The bed was comfortable and bigger than expected."

" The accommodation is run down and appears to be understaffed. Basic amenities, such as quality pillows, are lacking, and the food is of poor standard. It is disappointing to see this property listed on Hotels.com. I am also surprised that the associated academic institution is not aware of the low standard of accommodation being provided. This experience has unfortunately put me off supporting local businesses like this. I would recommend staying at a chain hotel in the area instead."

"Staff excellent. Menu not 24 hours as declared, went to order some food and was told she couldn’t leave the desk. Then later on went to order pizza, was told none available, then ten minutes later went back to the bar and person in front ordered pizza and accepted order, I then queried this to be told they could done her one and no more. "

"For £35/ night, I was quietly impressed. It was clean (sheets were clean). Maybe good if they cleaned mattress protectors. I did inspect whole bed, was concerned for the price, that there might be bed bugs. But thankfully none. It was quiet too. The price is unbeatable, and for easy convenient travel to Luton airport, it was perfect. Thank you overall. "
