"We were upgraded to the Cuckoo suite which was lovely overlooking the lit gardens. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The Close breakfast menu was also very good with lots of choice, we had Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine which were very nice."

"I absolutely loved my stay at The Slaughters Country Inn. The whole place has this slow-paced, charming atmosphere that makes you instantly relax. The venue itself is gorgeous — full of character and set in one of the most picturesque areas I’ve visited. The coffee deserves a special mention: it was the best I’ve had on this entire trip so far. Paired with the peaceful surroundings, it made my morning feel perfect. There’s also an amazing walk right on the doorstep, which made exploring the area even better.
