“Positives: Hotel was clean, quiet and newish. Breakfast goodish. Negatives Bed too soft. Room nyc-like small. My card was overcharged at the front desk compared to the amount I was expecting as per expedia. When I advised the front desk they were was not particularly understanding or even believing. I had to show my expedia booking on my phone to be believed: the desk person mentioned there was a disconnect between expedia and the hotel systems, whatever that means. “All excellent as expected. Wonderful staff, excellent food you were really treated like an important diner. Room was great (shower a little small) huge bath though. You must book if you want parking. Pity cars and vans park outside spoils sea view from patio and restaurant.”

“Schone kamer, alleen was de ventilator zo vies dat er weinig verkoeling van kwam. Schoongemaakt en daarna deed ie het wat beter. Wel nodig, want het was erg warm op de kamer. Boven het restaurant, met 's ochtends een uitgebreid ontbijt(warm en koud). Parkeren gratis achter het hotel. Alleen het wasbakje in de badkamer was superklein.”

“The room was a good size but had an odd odor and the carpet looked dirty with many stains. The rooms have NO AC, and they get extremely hot with no way to open the windows more than a couple of inches. A pedestal fan was provided but did little good, just blew hot air around. The hotel provided complimentary water (still and sparkling) and a couple of sodas, but all were warm and the rooms have in-room fridge.”

“Hosts absolutely delightful. Because of proximity to road, unable to open window during the heatwave but fan had been provided which helped. Every need was covered for our stay”

“Perfectly situated for both the town and the beach. Clean, comfortable room. There was great speed and efficiency at breakfast and dinner - well-staffed so no waiting. Had a quiz one evening and great musical entertainment on another.”

“This is a lovely hotel in a glorious location and very peaceful. The view form a sea-facing apartment is splendid. The main complaint would be that the decor and furnishings in the corridors and apartments are very old and tired - really they should have been updated/re-fitted 10 years ago. Some areas smell strongly of damp or mould. Otherwise, the convenience, pool and gym area, and having a kitchen in the apartment make this a worthwhile choice if you don't mind tired furnishings.”
