“Doors in the room falling of hinges, won't close. No holder for the toilet paper. holes in the walls from old picures?”

“When i got to my room there was a wasp in the window. I went to the desk and asked if they would take care of it. They were going to switch my ro i said no thats ok i was just wanting it removed. Im allergic to them so the staff came and kindly removed it for me.”

“Overall if you are looking for a budget hotel this one is good. It did have a weird smell like old maybe. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.”

“The hotel is undergoing a rennovation. Dust everywhere. The staff is not properly trained to navigate the situation in the hotel. Our room had a leak in the ceiling that was dripping onto the carpet, a refrigerator that did not work, linens that did not match-each bed was different, baseball trading cards in the bag that housed the dryer, and staff at the front desk who were not trained to handle these situations when approached by them. Would not stay here again until the rennovation is...

“Great hotel and location. Only problem was that the parking is totally inconvenient. We likely would not stay there again for this reason.”

“As people say, you get what you pay for. Even though there are some stains, overall, the room was clean. Personnels are really friendly. They gave me some useful information like transportation and restaurants near the accomodation and even they controled their speaking speed for me because I am a foreigner and English is not my mother tongue. ”

“The breakfast was good but everything else was sus. Glad they had a pool but not sure how it will be in the future”

“Our room was fine, particularly for just one night. I was disappointed with the breakfast, as it didn't include any eggs, meat or potatoes.”

“This is the only hotel in mount vernon so you don't have another option if you want to be near cornell college campus. A couple of things to point out are....they do not have any gf breakfast options other then scrambeled eggs and those are not always good,so plan ahead. The rooms are not always really clean,as mine didnt look like it had been vacuumed during my very recent stay. The on-site washer and dryer are old and do not run efficiently. The staff are always pleasant however.”

“I was unable to stay in this room and they would not refund me. I have called the insurance I purchased too and they will not refund me. The room was ground floor, window would not close all the way and there was no lock on the window. As a solo female traveler I felt this was unsafe. Especially since the desk did not appear to monitored at night and the front door had a lock you needed to access with key card. The room also had an odd odor.”

“The staff is really nice and helpful. The rooms are pretty dated and not that nice. The carpets and blankets did have some stains on them. Ac unit did stop working one night and woke up with a very humid room. The breakfast bar is pretty small. A waffle maker, some cereal, yogurt, very tiny pastries, and bananas. That’s about it.”

“Didn't like a thing about this hotel other than it was close to where we needed to be for a celebration of life for my father. The tv didn't work and I reported it and was told I had ttto wait until morning which is when we were leaving!”
