“The hall is magical. The stay was great and the room and food were excellent with one small exception. This is that the fabric covers on the chairs in the dining room were grubby. Also the decor in the dining room could do with a refresh. I mean paint, flowers lights etc.”

We were able to change our room due to an error on our part, without problem or charge. Parking was always available and accessible.”

“Lovely friendly staff but they didn't seem to know anything. There was no mention about breakfast times and location etc on check in. We asked about the pool but the staff in the main building didn't know whether it was included or not (it's not). When searching for a hotel, I specifically selected Air Con as a filter, but what I didn't realise until too late, is the rooms that came up on my search don't have any - fortunately it cooled down the night we were there. Lovely big rooms.”

“I have stayed a villa many times, unfortunately this visit was disappointing, I arrived after paying 129.96 for 1 night which included breakfast..only to be told that I would have to pay another 10 pound for a cooked breakfast..I was told that I had payed for only a continental breakfast, this certainly didn't state this on my booking form, I was looking forward to quiet afternoon which didn't happen due to all the building work going on, then dinner well the menu wasn't what it used to be, so...

“Rooms were quiet as accommodation is at the back of the site with woodland behind. There is plenty of parking right outside. Decor is old and tired and it needs a facelift. Breakfast was ok, cooked options were fine and bread and pastries good but fruit and yogurt options very limited. Probably would choose somewhere else to stay if in the area again.”

Cheap and cheerful accommodation - don’t forget that the price includes continental breakfast, which is more than generous - so a real bargain.
