“Second time I have stayed here, will be coming back again! Room lovely and clean. Breakfast was very nicely cooked and a good sized portion. Staff were very smiley, polite and helpful. They had also made arrangements so I could charge my vehicle too which was a bonus! Many thanks!”

“Second time staying at the Ship and it was once again excellent. Really friendly staff, lovely room with comfortable bed and pillows and the breakfast is superb. Highly recommend”

“Had to pay for parking each night. Room was dated. No full English paid between £7-£9 pound for breakfast to find out that in the mornings it would be a toasties coffee and fruit to take away. The restaurant was only Indian food and empty and closed most of time. They did not say on website there is no bar. When we arrived they said it was a dry bar no alcohol! Would not book here again!

“Breakfast service didn’t start till 9am which was a bit late for our plans. Room was basic but clean”

“Very nice room, bed was a little short for me at over 6 foot tall, but not the end of the world. Staff were very pleasant. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area”
