“I was very impressed with this property! It was gorgeous! We had an absolutely lovely stay! Extremely clean, quiet, and overall just so romantic! We loved it and will come back again! Loved the pub!”

“Couldn’t fault the room and staff at check in/behind the bar. Breakfast let the stay down, waiting nearly and hour for 4 easy breakfast (beans on toast, scrambled eggs and pancakes) and when it finally arrived it wasn’t very nice at all, we did wonder if the scrambled eggs had been dropped on the floor and scraped back on the plate- it looked so bad. Such a shame as the rooms were lovely, very clean and the pub is lovely. I would stay again but wouldn’t be rushing back to have breakfast here.”

“Good instructions from the owner for entry Place was very clean and tidy. Lovely location. Only downside was the shower pressure was very up and down and went from very hot to very cold and couldn't get a constant temperature temperature (plus there was no toilet roll but guess that was just an oversight)”

“Absolutely wonderful property, interiors were fabulous, location a little on the remote side, but we enjoyed that, very quiet . Walk to the pub…fabulous. Lots of walking & cycling routes which is exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately we inadvertently brought home a pepper grinder that wasn’t ours & we left a coat behind. If the owners have any of our details we would appreciate contact to arrange a collection & return of your grinder. J & D”

“I have used this hotel over a number of years- with always good service. Sadly it’s closing to be taken over by the Government to house asylum seekers. This is a big loss for Leyland because the hotel was well used by local people for events .”
