“Beautiful property on the lake. Check in was slow and they were behind schedule, which was frustrating. However, they gave us free breakfast vouchers, which helped. The restaurant was great, we ended up eating there twice. It’s also one of the only waterfront places to eat, as most of downtown isn’t waterfront. “It was really bleh. I was in room 12, i paid extra for the jacuzzi tub and didn't even use it, it didn't look clean. The bathroom has a lower ceiling, if you're 6' and over chances are you dont fit in the shower. The amenities were bad. The carpet in the room should be removed. If anything ask for room 1 to 11. In 12 you are in a renovated garage, you have two rooms over your head and you are located in the center of a parking lot. I would not book again. The check in is all via texts so thats...

“We showered and put our towels in basket as asked. Next day we returned to house after the wedding and the towels were not replaced in our room so we couldn't shower. There was no direction provided on how to receive new towels. I just assumed they checked our room and would have replaced the towels. Over all I would stay again. “What a great stay! We arrived very late so wrote to the staff when booking (in the amenities section) to text us about getting into the cabin so very late, and they did. And getting in was a breeze. Room is cute and cozy. Air conditioning worked perfectly, and so did the hot water for the shower. I assume the bed is a foam mattress, everything was new. Parking right along the cabin. “The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...
