“Set in the quiet and bucolic Norfolk countryside, this is a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat. We stayed in an en-suite cabin with two dogs, we were surrounded by woodland and looked out over a lake, of which there are a few within the site. Alongside the great views, we had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and modern en-suite. “We had a great two night stay at The Wheatsheaf in West Beckham. A quiet, clean and very comfortable room. Lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate to choose from. The cooked breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice and all freshly cooked for you. We also ate at the pub in the evening, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the cocktails. Check in was easy. The staff were really lovely and could not have be more friendly, welcoming or attentive. ”

Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. “Good breakfast and room in general. Room overlooking the back of the pub/ car park. Because they were 1/2 full they could put us overlooking the back gardens. Very good breakfast. Negatives: Shower with some mold in the seal and some hairs found in the bathroom. No place to put a wash bag due to limited space. Restaurant in the pub dont serve meals on Sunday evenings. Only up to 6pm which is aftenoon. ”

This is due to the friendly welcoming warm staff - specially Rosie who couldn’t do enough for us, she happily showed us around the facilities and made us feel very special. The fun, colourful vibe and swim up cocktails were a treat and the room with the double bath was one of its kind and so memorable.
