"First class stay in an historic home. Decor commensurate with the age of the property. Rooms comfortable and each is different, definitely not cookie-cutter styled. Outdoor eating/drinking areas when the weather permits it. Staff are approachable and helpful. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area."

"We found all the staff we dealt with to be very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good. Room and beds were very good. The only thing that wasn't quite as good was the bathroom. Lovely new tiles but paintwork needed doing. Otherwise an enjoyable overnight stay."
