"Had a very lovely lobby. Staff were polite and cheerful. Entire area was clean and well kept. Breakfast could use more variety. Loved our stay."

"The Wingate has gone downhill from our previous year's stay. To start, the elevator had a questionable aroma. The hallway carpets were dirty, stitched together, and had bleach stains. Coming into the room, the room itself was very presentable. Tip: Bring your own pillows, as these pillows are too small (they looked like couch decoration pillows). Also, you may want to bring your own mattress topper, as the beds were also hard. Also bring a fan because the AC was a wee bit temperamental. Moving into the bathroom, the toilet did not flush, the taps were affixed inappropriately, and the shower knob was Rubix-Cubeque. Finally bring cleaning supplies for your shower experience. BUT the breakfast was better than the bathroom situation, because they had sausage. Yum! Decent stay for one night only."

"Won’t get sleep a lot of drug attics that stay up all night weed smell going through the room. No remote for the tv. Stains in the bed covers. Horrible stay and felt unsafe and barely stayed there for that fact waste of money and too much for that type of dealing with."

"I checked in well after the standard check-in time and found my room still very dirty, almost like it was recently used. There was visible dirt on the towels and the shower floor was wet. I found dead bugs throughout the room & when I moved the couch, I found fast food sauce packets & other trash behind the couch. The flooring throughout the entire building was buckling and missing in sections. Just a bad vibe in general with the whole place."

"This place was absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed. It’s disgusting and it’s in a horrible area. We didn’t feel safe at all. The pictures online are false in how it makes it look. People were screaming and running down the halls all hours of the night. Some drugged out dude was jumping in front of cars in the parking lot trying to scam people for money. Do not stay here."

"I checked in but left immediately after seeing the room. It was awful. Told the manager on duty that I was checking out again. He offered me another room but I declined as the location was rough looking and undesirable. Plaster falling off walls, lot of black mould in bathroom & shower. Door to room not sealed properly. Then to make things worse the person in the room next door had a car with four bullet holes on the passenger side?? I did not feel safe there. I have already sent a report about this to Hotels. Com requesting a refund."
