View from Coulston Hill, near Edington From Coulston Hill we look over the rich farmland of west Wiltshire with Trowbridge trying to hide between the hills and not quite succeeding. Further on Bradford on Avon makes a far better show with Christchurch standing bold near the right hand edge of the frame nearly nine miles away. However, at twice the distance, Bradford is easily outdone by Beckford's Tower on Lansdown. ST7367 There it is, on the skyline, at 18 miles, a little to the left of Christchurch. Even this is not the end, look to the left of the picture, on the skyline again and there is Kelston Round Hill. ST7167 That is at a distance of 21 miles. If you live in the area (or even if you do not) and can positively identify any other landmark I would like to hear from you. Your own house may be there.
