"Good rooms spoilt by noisy traffic. Essentially you are getting a fully serviced luxury villa plus some public areas typical of the hotel. The gardens are lush and the rooms lavish. There is much to entertain the eye, the hotel designer seems to have had an extravagant budget and the rooms are crammed with a melange of elegant objects. Sadly no thought was given to the labours of the housekeeping team, and there are pockets of evidence suggesting that the miracles required to keep the clutter...

"Had a lovely mini break in the Tivoli hotel in April. It is a beautiful hotel in an ideal location. Gorgeous restaurants are a short walking distance away along the coast on either side. The hotel has a very chilled atmosphere with very friendly staff. Played some golf while there which the staff helped organise. Lovely breakfast in the morning and the Beach Club and Guilty restaurant great options. Plenty of room around the pool. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend."

"We are a couple both aged 23 - absolutely loved Colon Guanahani. The hotel is for the relaxers, we were one of few younger couples mostly older ladies and gents. Beautiful, beautiful hotel unique in its modern but homely natural style. Area was beautiful so much nicer than places we walked to, we were so happy we chose this hotel over others we seen that we had considered when booking. Hotel staff always on hand to assist, Guest Experience booked our excursions and when we asked if it was possible to move rooms to get the evening sun on our balcony they were very accommodating, as promised the very next morning we moved rooms! "The dinner and facilities are great, some staff were not that friendly. There’s a vibration noise in our room at midnight and they were able to accommodate and offer us a new room. There’s not really places to refill water bottles as well."

"We treated ourselves to a night here while visiting my mum who lives more inland. I remembered how kind and friendly the staff were the previous year when we had a day pass, and they were kind again this year. Our standard room was gorgeous with a huge balcony that the older kids loved. Beautiful grounds, but only one warmer pool..nice chilled out vibe.
