Hyatt Place Minneapolis Downtown

8/10 Good

"Staff was very friendly and courteous upon check-in. The suite room was incredibly spacious and great amenities. Beds and bedding were comfortable and bathrooms were nice and clean. Big sofa and dining table. The breakfast buffet was large and there was something for any type of diet. Easy access to the skywalk system from hotel elevator in the lobby. Great location for walking to sporting events, dining, or night life. TVs have access to streaming TV and apps as well. Cons: The parking lot is a little cramped and you have to use two elevators to get to your room if you're not staying on level H (1st floor of hotel). Hotel was also using portable A/C extension units because it seems the buildings A/C could not keep up. It was rather warm and humid in certain areas. Not sure if this was a temporary thing. The staff did give us complimentary water bottles."
