In room coffee wasn’t the best, but there was a coffee place just down the street. Staff was professional, but not friendly. Can’t say this was my favorite place, but very nice”
“Pine Grove was super clean and comfortable, but what really set this place apart was the staff. Everyone seemed to take great pride in the resort -- they were so friendly and kind. One morning, we were on the way to the car and a staff person walked by carrying a long board, smiling broadly, and said, "time to go rescue a baby racoon!". Sure enough, a baby racoon was stuck in a dumpster. My husband and I just looked at each other like "is this for REAL?" I think the all the staff really love...
“Wonderful suite! Updated and cozy. The kitchen was wonderful and the room beautiful. It was our first time with contactless check-in but it worked out. The staff contacts you via email periodically and is responsive to questions. Only addition is we would have loved somewhere to recycle our aluminum and plastic bottles. Would definitely come again! ”
“Lynne and the younger man that work the desk were extremely personable and accommodating. I worked a wedding for hair and makeup, my mom sharing the room with me would have had to wait 2 hours outside the original check out time, but they allowed me to extended my checkout time while working with Expedia to make sure my stay was as seamless as possible and did not make a fuss over the change!
Also left a clothing item in my room and they had it folded nicely waiting for me even after checkout....
“The property is close to amenities. Hotel is clean.
Wish I had a firmer mattress. Although free breakfast, is a grab and go and does not open until 8AM. Would have liked to get a fresh brewed coffee at 7. Owner was not familiar with different activities or sites in the area when asked. Should get familiar with eating places in the area Lure is a great restaurant that is close; and Door county is known for cherries; we wanted to go Cherry Picking. One is in Sister Bay down the street!”
