"I hate leaving bad reviews. So I'll start by saying, booked because the price was great when everything else was crazy so big thumbs up for that. It certainly was the ultimate in no thrills and budget. As basic as you can possibly imagine. Beds were hard and small as possible room . Tv was competely in feench, most would have at least one news channel in english but fair play it is france. No water pressure in the shower. "I had an excellent stay at Hôtel Esplanade the first week of December for the Christmas Markets. The hotel was very conveniently located near a tram stop so that it was fast and easy to get down to the city center. More than that, it was a warm and quiet refuge to recover for the evening and at the end of the night. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were two bars, two coffee shops, and a convenience store all within short walking distance. Would highly recommend!"
