"We stayed 6 nights at the Eagle Foundry B&B and loved it! Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was extremely generous...eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, bread, milk, orange juice and a large variety of cereals. Oh, and there was also baked beans, spaghetti and sardines! Other lovely surprises included a carafe of Port, Tim Tam's and mints."

"Cute, cosy cottage with everything you needed and more. Huge sunny backyard filled with lavender and birds. Firepit and fireplace was delightful to give warmth and atmosphere. Great location to many wineries and food."

"Wonderful place to stay. Bed was really soft, which I love. The only tiny thing I would negatively say is the televisions are not smart tv, so had to rely on watching our phone's at night. Also, the toilet paper isn't the best quality, but we ended up buying some. Other than those two things, it was a fabulous stay."

"Unfortunately the flicker didn't work for my stove top so had to use a lighter but other than that it was great the kitchen had things to cook and eat with. Also the door to main bedroom isn't lockable so would definately recommend that ."

"The Louise is a destination in itself with it's scenic outlook and all-inclusiveness. Everything from breakfast, your mini-bar (everyday), afternoon appetisers, pre-drinks (including cocktails and top shelf spirits) then decadent four-course dinners with matching wines are included. Every night (in winter) turn down service included herbal night teas and hot water bottles left in the bed. Had we been here in summer, we would of made use of the infinity pool overlooking the vineyards. Being our first time in The Barossa we chose to use it as our "hub" to explore the many wineries from - including Tscharke which is literally across the road. The Underground Wine Tasting is something else and if you get the chance - I recommend you do this tour organised by the hotel. You will always feel like you have special attention given there are only 15 lodges available here but truly - the staff go above and beyond to cater and attend to your every whim (and sometimes get you out of a pickle). From making sure the day lounge was made into a bed for one of us snorers to retreat to at night - to helping us find last minute transportation when our uber did not show up to take us back to the airport, we were grateful for the wonderful staff. A special mention to Darcy, Maddie, Ian, Pi, Esther and Deborah. You have left us with special memories and we thank you!"
