“The Ronebhal Guest House was amazing from the view out our room window to the wonderful shower!! There were many special touches too, like bathrobes and snacks. We even saw seals and otters out the window while enjoying a little scotch and were able to sleep so well!! Additionally, the owners were so sweet!! We would definitely stay there anytime we are in the area!!”

“Room was terrible, drab, boring, paint peeling, shower screen old and needing replaced, actual shower average. Bed was we're sure a queen. Only decent thing was breakfast. But this was definately the worst hotel we've stayed in, will not be back.”

“Really overpriced £200 room for 3 the breakfast was not worth it just go into the town it's just a basic place to stay very dowdy restaurant like a staff canteen poor choice ! The only good thing the view to the sea”

Breakfast was delicious, we also had dinner there and it was wonderful, other than they did not cook my steak correctly, but they took it off the bill, which is great customer service.”

“This accommodation is very remote. But really nice. The rooms are large and clean with nice en-suite facilities and the dining room - in an extended sun room - is spacious and comfortable. Very well run by a lovely couple we enjoyed our stay. Take dinner here - it’s very good value and enjoyable.”

“The Whiskey Vault business runs a a bar restaurant plus a small hotel. The best of this accommodation is its convient town center location. The room we had is clean but space is really tight. When we arrived at around dinner time, the hotel receptionist was not there so we checked in with the staff at the bar. Actually we had no contact with the hotel receptionist during our two-night stay. Better than anticipated, noise in late evening was non-issue for our stay during a weekend. There is no...

“Clean well decorated in antique style. breakfast served in a bag in the fridge 2 yoghurts 2 bananas 2 coisants 2 cereal bars and 2 baby bell cheeses. Stairs a little steep but not too bad. 5 minutes walk into Oban. Bed was comfy and huge pillows which I loved”

“The staff were nice enough , but the spa amenities are quite bad. The photos online do not do it justice. The only facilities that are nice are the ones that are brand new and not included. The steam room was full of mold and not functioning well. The pool Is in need of some upkeep. The hot tub was the only amenity we enjoyed.”

“Wonderful hosts whom made us a late request dinner. Rooms were clean and neat and everything was well decorated and functioning. A very nice breakfast as well. A minute to the ferry to Isle of Mull giving plenty of time for a day exploring Duart castle and Tobermorey. Highly recommend!”
