There is a rainfall separate shower in the bathroom too, handy for both of us getting ready at the same time. “Central location and excellent for walking into the city - parking was a real bonus , very secure and safe. Staff members very personable and professional. My only comment would be that the dining menu could be improved to consider a main course offer of Steak / Salad and Fish ? - that said the food was very good and I throughly enjoyed my supper, the wine was excellent too.”

“A beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well! ”

“What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.”
