"Our stay was pleasant and the owner is so genuine and down to earth. I know the place is going to be so much better when it’s had its renovations. It’s clear that the management team all make a big effort for the place to run smoothly. Cannot fault it. Thank you "

"Location is great right by the river uphill walk in to city centre but not that far
Breakfast was of good variety and although you had to pay for parking it was safe and very easy
Our room was comfortable and clean and we had a great view of the river Tyne.
Would definitely stay again."

"Has a really lovely welcome after a long journey which goes such a long way. The room was great and I had no need to worry about noise from overlooking the busy train station. The secondary glazing made it cozy and quiet.

"I absolutely loved staying in this hotel. The location on the quay side is beautiful. I was fortunate to have a river view. I had never been to Newcastle before but finding the hotel and parking was so easy. I loved that the car park had spaces for the hotel and it is so close to the hotel and such good value for money too. The hotel decor is beautiful and I was very impressed. The staff were extremely welcoming on arrival. The room was perfect, it was a good size, had all the amenities you needed and it was very clean. The only criticism would be the pillows bring a little soft for my liking but that’s personal preference. The bathroom and shower were perfect.
Dining and breakfast at the hotel was excellent, a great choice on the menu and the food didn’t disappoint. I stayed half board and thought it was excellent value for money. The breakfast was fantastic with self- serve and hot food menu options.
All in all my stay at Malmaison was excellent and I would highly recommend this hotel. I’m definitely going to rebook for another stay. "
