"Such an amazing stay! We had no idea there was such a cute town only a short walk away. The food was delicious and staff was attentive. Loved our stay here would highly recommend!! "
"This hotel booking included half board. We requested our special needs and we were extremely happy with the meal preparation and presentation. The public bath/onsen was good and so was the private onsen in the room.
The transportation was timely and staff even helped us to load and unload our luggage. Overall very happy with stay and will recommend this hotel to the guests who want to experience upscale japanese hotel experience."
"The package included the dinner and breakfast (Kaiseki style), the foods are delicious and served very well. The front desk staff explains very detailed about the facilities. "
"Very nice place for vacation, clean and spacious. It’s raining so we couldn’t enjoy in balcony.
Also very nice bath tub! Very good maintenance, things like new."

"This place is amazing! The staff, the facilities and food are top notch! I will warn you, if you have tattoos, you cannot use the public onsen bath. Such a relaxing place and will visit again!
Thank you to the staff who were so kind, accommodating and very friendly! "
"This was the exact authentic Japanese style experience I wanted. Everything from the decor to the clothes. Our room overlooked the river and was incredible to sit and watch while sipping tea. "
"I was not expect the hotel has such good conditions, the staffs are very friendly and the hotel like a garden. I will definitely to book this hotel again. "
"The hot springs were wonderful. There is a hotel around the corner that Okada shares use of the rooftop hot springs, and that is absolutely worth a visit. It was beautiful up there, albeit a little hard to find off the 8th floor side entrance and you walk up a hill to the other building. If you can spring for the room with the hot spring tub in it, def do that. We did this for our 2nd night there, and it was a big bonus to the experience. The rooms are great and the quintessential Japanese experience (at least it seemed so to us). The buffet food was great, but the price is very high per person. That was our most expensive meal of the entire 10-day trip. If we were to do it again, we’d have done the buffet once for convenience, but gone to a local restaurant instead for the 2nd night. Heads-up - even if you buy a beer from the vending machine in the hallway outside the buffet…you can’t drink it inside. We bought one from the machine and tried to drink it but got scolded like criminals even though we bought in the hallway. Maybe the restaurant is separately run, but just a heads-up. Don’t make the same mistake. They have a convenient shuttle bus that goes straight to the train station/center of town where you can get the Romance Car back to Shinjuku or a trains onto the Hakone Cable Car / Ropeway. We’d stay here again for sure. "
