“lovely setting in the bucolic village of Wansford, elegant hotel with very well kept and attractive interior. Check in was great with a very helpful member of staff, full of information about the hotel and different dining styles. We had a great night in a comfortable room, well appointed. Our only problem was that the breakfast service was very slow. I understand that the service was very busy but from arrival to redelivery of our breakfast was over 3/4 of an hour, and some people who...

“ Room was clean but cramped and one wall was was unpainted plywood (just unfinished not a style choice!) Breakfast supplies in room. Fridge, kettle,toaster but nowhere to sit to eat Shower barely worked Hairdryer blew but no heat Looks very neglected from outside. Dead plants in window boxes Was in a good location and had off street parking but glad we were only staying one night. Would not return or recommend to anyone. ”

“Accessible room was perfect. I chose not to have breakfast so not able to comment on breakfast or bar area, because fir my visit I was visiting family and had lots of activities planned with them. Room was clean and the walk in shower in the accessible room so much better than trying to climb into lowered bath to have a shower. ”
