"Quiet clean room with everything we needed. In town for a wedding so just stayed the night. Check in was quick and easy. The room had everything we needed. Beds were ok and the front desk even had a toothbrush since someone forgot theirs at home. Breakfast was typical - served its purpose. And checkout was a breeze."

"What a beautiful place the Fairmont Austin is. We had two separate reservations due to one being a family event, and one for a birthday. They were able to accommodate it and make sure that the room did not need to be moved. Also they surprised us with a cake and drinks to celebrate the birthday. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Austin."

"Service, valet, luggage storage, restaurant, pool, and coffee shop was excellent. Location excellent. The rooms: find what you consider important below. The tommie had small rooms and bathrooms with limited places to keep luggage which made it crowded for two people. The bathroom had the drain on the other side of the shower door and towards the toilet which caused the water to collect on the floor making dry feet difficult after a shower. There was a wood stand to stand on to help, but was awkward. There was no bathroom fan so all the moisture stayed in the bathroom and room for some time. There has to be a mold problem at some point in the future. Perhaps this is a trade off from the Thompson side with bigger rooms."

"This is a great place to stay, especially if you need to get to/from the airport. The hotel has a restaurant and bar so you don’t need to leave once you check in! Nice pool and outdoor relaxing area. The staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful."

"Everything from check in to check out was perfect. Front desk guys were kind and knowledgeable. The property felt safe and secure. Our room was clean, cool and smelled nice. Pool area is beautiful! We ate in the restaurant for dinner. We were rude…so sorry guys… and showed up 30 minutes before closing but they were so kind and patient while we chose, ordered, and ate. Drinks were so good. We ate 3 appetizers, veggie tempura, gyoza, and tuna tataki. Delicious!!! In the morning we had breakfast. There were many choices everything we ate was good and hot. So happy with this stay, we will be back!"
